    Description

    Blue Mountain Pottery Pitcher Creamer Green Brown Vintage. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or flea bites.  The piece measures 4" tall and 4.5" wide (not including the handle).
    Blue Mountain Pottery items feature a unique, trademarked glazing process known as "reflowing decorating" whereby two different glazes, one light and one dark in color were applied. During the firing process, the glazes would run, creating streaking patterns unique to each piece. The clay used by Blue Mountain Pottery is red, as you can see on the bottom unglazed ring around the company logo in the last photo.
    Blue Mountain Pottery was started in the 1950s, most likely 1953 and continued to produce its wares until 2004 when it closed.
